May we find those quiet moments in the day
where we can rest our weary hearts.
May we embrace the energy of the loud spaces
that fill the world with life.
May we learn to recognize a gift that
comes in an unexpected package
at an unexpected moment
from an unexpected person.
May there come a time when we can
smile more than cry when we think
of those we love who are not here.
May we find a way to visit with them
wherever they may be.
May we learn to accept the
grace of simply being in this
moment, no matter wherever
else we may want to be.
