Building piece by piece...

it’s a challenge because

there isn’t any picture on

the front of this box.

Sorting by color, shape,

following a line to connect

the edges of a face or

a flower, sometimes trying

to make a section fit

in the wrong place.

Along the way, a bit

may have gotten lost, leaving

a gaping hole in the pattern.

What to do – throw

the puzzle away?

Or perhaps, use a scrap

of cardboard, a few

colored pencils and

a drop of glue to

improvise.

Is it a perfect match? No.

Is the puzzle complete?

Yes...well...sort of.

When all is said and done

it pretty much portrays

a life -- in all its broken

and mended splendor.
